CoNNECted We can Make A Difference
Joint NNEC and SNEC Women's Retreat!

April 24 - 26, 2009

We are so excited about this amazing retreat! For the first time ever, Women's Ministries of Northern and Southern New England Conferences are uniting to host a weekend for women called The Invitation at the beautiful Grand Summit Hotel in Mount Snow, Vermont.

Both Women's Ministry teams have prayed, planned and prepared opportunities for women who not only want to have a spiritually significant journey in their lives, but also a fun-filled fellowship weekend.

Wait until you hear the inspirational messages from Scripture presented by Gail McKenzie and uplifting music by the musical group Message of Mercy! Saturday evening you will explore creative ideas on sharing God's love with others.

Our first meeting is Friday, April 24, 2009, at 7:30 pm. The badge given to you at our Welcome Table is necessary to participate in activities, meetings and meals.

Pre-registration is a must so register early for a great discount! There will be no onsite registration.

We hope you accept The Invitation.

We'll meet you there,
God Bless,

Lynn Ortel, NNEC Women's Ministry Director Alice Jacobson, SNEC Women's Ministry Director

Thought for Today

Attitude

"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company…a church…a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice very day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past…we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude…I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you…we are in charge of our attitudes."

Chuck Swindoll

What attitude do you want for today?
